I am excited about this. Sometimes when you lay out all your thoughts in writing things seem to get a lot clearer.
Today I finally turned in my research paper for my coffee study abroad seminar (last minute as usual) and I am happy to say that it will be the last paper I have to write for the next year. Starting this September I will be working almost full time as a Preschool gymnastics instructor and part time again at the Boys and Girls Club. No school next year. My past few quarters at UW have not been so great academically. I have done great in all my dance classes- as for the others….yikes. I feel like I’ve forgotten how to be a student. Sometimes I wonder if I ever was a good student. In high school I got away with so much! I’m just a little sad that I haven’t gotten to start any classes in my degree- Early Childhood Education, yet. I might go part-time to a community college though, North Seattle or Shoreline?
I am actually quite excited about this upcoming year though. After work I will be able to come home and not have to do homework! I’ve been day dreaming about all the things I will be able to do that I haven’t gotten to do lately:
1. Take more dance classes!
2. Bake some cookies
3. Get back in shape…. (Central America gave me about 7lbs..:)
4. Create a giant collage
5. Have a sense of style… (I think I have about 6 pairs of yoga pants that I regularly wear)
6. Read! (I can’t believe I finished East of Eden )
that’s all for now…
